MSC have been working in close partnership with CliniSys (formerly Sysmed) in Ireland for over 15 years. CliniSys are the leading UK supplier of IT solutions, delivering improved quality and productivity within the clinical laboratory and specialist clinical environments.
A recent independent market survey showed that WinPath, the CliniSys laboratory information management system, is used more extensively throughout the UK than any other system on the market. CliniSys' preView products provide specialist clinical solutions for Diabetes, Diabetic Retinopathy, Sexual Health and Cancer Management. CliniSys place particular emphasis on compliance with regulatory and National requirements both in Ireland and the UK, meeting the growing demands resulting from Government guidelines and programmes such as the Pathology Modernisation Programme and the National Service Framework, developing tools and services to help our customers deliver against increasing service demands. CliniSys are currently involved in pilot projects for HL7 GP Messaging, electronic data exchange for the HPSC (Health Protection Surveillance Centre) and the ICSP (Irish Cervical Screening Program).
