Carmelo Lupo from Diapath S.p.A will be on our stand (333) to discuss liquid Coverslipper technology, this technology is an innovative reagent that represents an effective method by “dipping” for the mounting of microscope slide. The Liquid Coverslipper is a “xylen free” reagent that can be Liquid Coverslipper Technology used both in automatic and manual stainers and allows to obtain a slide mounted very simply without the use of slide racks.
In histocytopathological diagnostics the microscopic observation of biological samples is aimed at the formulation of the diagnosis. The “assembly” of the slide consists of covering the sample with a coverslip. This procedure can take place either in manual or automatic mode, using automatic coverslips. The particular combination of the polymers gives the reagent flexibility, homogeneous viscosity and rigidity at the same time and boasts of a refractive index very close to that of the slide (1.48-1.50), appearing ultra-transparent to the naked eye and to the optical microscope.
