Both Astrovirus, which contains at least 7 species, and Adenovirus types 40 and 41 are responsible for causing some cases of human gastroenteritis.
Genetic Signatures’ Enteric Viral ASRs have been designed to detect 9 of the most common viral-causing gastroenteric species.
