The Ph0₂x Box is a new, easy to use and economicalPhysoxia/Hypoxia system designed for in vitro cell culture experiments.
Ph0₂x Box comprises a single Gas Controller (offering both O2 and CO2 control) and a Cell Culture Chamber. The Cell Culture Chamber can be placed on a lab bench, or be placed inside an Incubator or a Workstation

PhO₂x Box enables oxygen-controlled environment inside any incubator. Ideal for short-term in vitro cell culture experiments where no media changes are needed during the experiment.

Standard Features

• Ph0₂x Box comes in 2 sizes:
  • Small: 355 x 369 x 173 mm (W x D x H), capacity of 8 x 96 well plates
  • Large: 355 x 369 x 238 mm (W x D x H), capacity of 18 x 96 well plates
  • Both cell culture chamber sizes are available as clear and light reducing (black) version
• Range CO2: 0.1-20% in 0.1% increments
• Range O2: 0.1%-20% in 0.1% increments (using compressed air) but can use 2 up to 25%, sensor accuracy +/- 0.1%, to be confirmed
• Adjustable flow rate for compressed Air/O2, CO2 and N2 gases to speed up/ decrease ramping times
• Easy setup, with touchscreen control
• Datalog displaying time/date/O2 set point and value/CO2 set point and value (stores 12 months of data on an SD card)
• The gas Controller version has an air pump intake thereby obviating the need for a compressed air cylinder, so the user only has to source N2 and CO2 gases. There is a small filter over the air intake
• Audible alarms and temperature display
