On a recent visit to the Alliance BioExpertise (ABE)headquarters in Rennes, France, the Pharma team received hands on training on their automated food and media preparation range of instruments.
Over the 2 days the distributors got a chance to be part of the innovative, enthusiatic and professional team at ABE.
They showcased the new mediapreparator, Mediawel 10L, designed with small to medium size labs preparing diluents, media and broths in volumes ranging from 1L to 10L.

- Up to 50 programs can be installed, configurable from 1 to 4 temperature steps.
- Equipped with wheels on the trolley allows ease of movement of the unit.
- An additional safety feature, the Mediawel 10L is fitted with a transparent safety lid that is lockable at temperatures over 80°C.
- The innovative double magnetic stirring blades allow for optimum temperature homogeneity.
Demonstrations of the bigger size media preparator Mediawel 30L and the automated plate stacker and pourer, the Distriwel, also impressed the course attendees. Food samples were prepared with ease using the improved software on the Diluwel, automated diluter and homogenised using the Mixwel with it’s patented pendular technology.
