Whilst Pancreatic Cancer is relatively rare, it effects approximately 550 people each year in Ireland. The earlier the disease is detected, the more succesful treatment is likely to be. However only a quarter of Irish people with Pancreatic Cancer can receive treatment, largely due to late diagnosis of the disease.
Pancreatic Cancer can be treated with Surgery, Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and other targeted therapies.
Our partner Cell Marque are holding a webinar, where they will discuss Pancreatic Cancer and the issues surrounding it. They will investigate pancreatic anatomy, the types of pancreatic disease and have a look into the most inclusive and up-to-date diagnostic testing.
