Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers in Ireland. Affecting both men and women (usually over the age of 50) there are approximately 2,749 people diagnosied annually in Ireland.
Lung cancer can be treated with surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, depending on the type and where it is found.
Our partner Cell Marque will discuss in their webinar the various forms of lung cancer, including lung adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and mesothelioma and some of the etiological factors that influence the high rate of lung cancer. Cell Marque will then delve into a discussion of the grid lines and how we can use them to help identify these different forms of lung cancer.
