Stability Chambers For Product Testing

MSC Stability Chambers for product testing | Medical Supply Company

Did you know that MSC can supply a stability chamber for almost any application?

Temperature-controlled environments are an essential part of any laboratory for a wide variety of applications. Product stability testing is essential in determining the shelf life of the product. The parameters to which products are exposed include temperature, light, and humidity. Often, cycles of these parameters must be performed, for example, cycling through different temperatures or light intensities to mimic night and day.

Why choose MSC for your controlled temperature equipment?

Stability Chambers

Angelantoni EKO range

The Angelantoni EKO range of thermostatic and climate chambers are ideally suited for laboratories carrying out tests on pharmaceutical products, cell cultures, plant growth, insects, solute and solvent analysis, electronic components, and many more applications.

The internal chambers of the units are made from AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners for easy cleaning.

The chambers are designed with a temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. Angelantoni Life Science has many years of experience with temperature-controlled systems and there is an advanced heating and cooling system installed in the EKO range. The hermetic compressor provides near-silent refrigeration to cool the chamber if required, the heat is ventilated by specialised high-temperature resistant motors to ensure even temperature throughout the chamber.

Humidity levels can be selected between 20 and 90% relative humidity. An integrated steam generator which can be fed by softened water, provides the steam for chamber humidity, while the advanced control system ensures precise levels.

Various lighting options are available. The intensity can be adjusted from 0 to 20,000 lux.

The EKO range of chambers can be supplied with a programmable microprocessor controller to generate temperature, humidity and lighting ramps. This allows the user to mimic day/night conditions or freeze-thaw.

MMM CLIMACELL®

The MMM CLIMACELL® range of stability/climatic chambers are a premium range of chambers ideal for a wide range of applications, including

  • Product Stability Testing
  • Plant growth
  • Insect growth
  • Tissue culture

The CLIMACELL® can operate from 0°C to 100°C (from 10°C to 90°C with humidity). Advanced heating and cooling systems ensure even temperature distribution throughout the chamber. The fuzzy logic microprocessor and advanced controller ensure precise ramping temperature changes.

The CLIMACELL® range have humidity control from 10% to 98% relative humidity. The units can be connected to a central water supply or come equipped with a dH2O container. Similar to temperature, precise humidity control is mediated by the advanced controller and the integrated high quality water vapour generator.

There are a wide range of lighting options available for the CLIMACELL®. Lights can be added on the inside of the door or on the underside of the shelves. Lighting options include:

  • Visible light fluorescent lamps
  • LED light panels
  • UV lights
  • LED lights at specific wavelengths

Lighting cycles can be designed and controlled to mimic day and night or other cycles.

The CLIMACELL® range is available in sizes from 111 to 1212 litres.
